We’ll let the film and narration from a 1952 Indy documentary speak for itself. Nick Shirrell of our team and Find Grain and Octane is the man behind it.
We have competed in our first endurance race of 2019! Although we’re still running the same red 89 Mercedes we’ve done a number of upgrades to the car. Some more subtle than others. For this running at the National Corvette Museum the car went on track with a driver cooling system, rear wing, HPDE airdam, and wood splitter mounted with the help of Professional Awesome’s splitter hardware. These modifications allowed us to drop our average lap times by 2 seconds!
Unfortunately for us we also lost an engine on the fist day and suffered transmission issues on the second resulting in a 30th place finish.
