We’ll let the film and narration from a 1952 Indy documentary speak for itself. Nick Shirrell of our team and Find Grain and Octane is the man behind it.
We have competed in our first endurance race of 2019! Although we’re still running the same red 89 Mercedes we’ve done a number of upgrades to the car. Some more subtle than others. For this running at the National Corvette Museum the car went on track with a driver cooling system, rear wing, HPDE airdam, and wood splitter mounted with the help of Professional Awesome’s splitter hardware. These modifications allowed us to drop our average lap times by 2 seconds!
Unfortunately for us we also lost an engine on the fist day and suffered transmission issues on the second resulting in a 30th place finish.
We’ve opened a sore on our site to sling our merchcedes (Mercedes Merchandise) and some of the proceeds even go to a good cause. We will donate $1 for every shirt we sell to local technical educational programs.
Our first release is this shirt designed by Nick for our Grid Life Touring Cup debut. For only $13 this can be yours!
From Chumps to Champs.
We are ringing in the new year with an interview with our friend Dusty Michael, and creator of the podcast “the Burnouts”. Listen here for the story of our illustrious racing career in 2017 and 2018.
